How to Delete Your Account in the App
You can request account deletion directly inside the Focushala app:
- Open the Focushala app and sign in to your account.
- Go to the Settings menu.
- Open Privacy Policy.
- Tap the Delete Account button.
- Confirm the deletion request when prompted.
Important: Account deletion is permanent. After deletion is completed, you will not be able to restore your account, saved progress, focus history, notes, goals, reflections, or other account data.
What Data Is Deleted
When your Focushala account is deleted, we delete or anonymize personal data associated with your account, including:
- Account profile information, such as your registered email address and login identity.
- Focus session history, routines, streaks, progress, and app usage records linked to your account.
- Goals, notes, reflections, priorities, journal entries, and motivation content saved in the app.
- Voice recordings or other user-created content stored with your account, where applicable.
- Subscription or entitlement records stored by Focushala, where applicable.
Data We May Retain
Some limited data may be retained only when required for legitimate business, security, fraud prevention, legal, tax, accounting, or compliance purposes. This may include:
- Payment, purchase, refund, or subscription transaction records maintained by payment providers or app stores.
- Security logs, crash logs, or abuse-prevention records that are not used to recreate your account.
- Records required to respond to legal obligations or resolve disputes.
Retained data is kept only for as long as necessary for the purpose for which it is retained, and then deleted or anonymized according to our data retention practices.
Deletion Timeline
Most account deletion requests are processed immediately or within a short operational period. If a manual review is required, deletion will generally be completed within 30 days unless a longer retention period is legally required.
